Seminar to discuss microbrewery business

A pair of experts will present a seminar about the microbrewery business Thursday at the Rocky Mount Mills.

“The Business of Craft Beer: Building a Successful Microbrewery” is scheduled to run from 6 -9 p.m. in the NCC 360 Brew Classroom next to Ramblers Bottle Shop.

John Szymankiewicz, founder of the Beer Law Center and the head of the corporate and business practice areas of Matheson and Associates, and Audra Gaiziunas, founder of the conulting firm Brewed For Her Ledger LLC, will talk about what it takes to develop a successful microbrewery business. Topics will inlclude finances, branding, business management, legal issues and more.
