The Mayor’s Commission on Persons with Disabilities has teamed up with Buffalo Wild Wings and the N.C. Department of Vocational Rehabilitation to help raise money for the commission’s scholarship fund.

The fundraiser will be held from 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Oct. 21 at Buffalo Wild Wings at 215 Ring Road. Participants will present a ticket to their server. Ten percent of the total bill, not including tax, gratuity or promotional discounts, will be donated to the scholarship fund.

“The Mayor’s Commission on Persons with Disabilities has been awarding scholarships for several years, but this year they have increased their efforts by partnering with Buffalo Wild Wings,” said Jeffrey Walston, Human Relations specialist for the city. “The goal of this collaboration is to offer additional scholarships to deserving students.”

Tickets are free and available in advance at the Human Relations Department on the first floor of the Frederick E. Turnage Municipal Building at 331 S. Franklin St. Tickets also will be available on the day of the event at Buffalo Wild Wings.
