Carl and Michelle Strickland, owners of an Everlasting Memory Monument Co. in Rocky Mount, recently hosted a luncheon to show appreciation to all fire, rescue and EMS employees, with over 80 from the Nash County-Rocky Mount area attending.
An Everlasting Memory combined with other local companies that donated to the luncheon, which included Smithfields Chicken & BBQ. Gardners Barbecue Restaurant, Anne’s Donuts Owner Devak Patel, Great American Cookie Co., The Party Store, Lebleu Water, Pepsi and L&L Food Stores.
Lunch was served by Michelle Viverette-Strickland, Carol Pridgen, Debra Vester and Charles O’Conney. An Everlasting Memory also gave goody bags to each person.
An Everlasting Memory would like to thank 98.5 Big Dawg for broadcasting live prodcasts during the luncheon. The Stricklands also would like to thank everyone that donated and helped make this luncheon happen.
“As we said last year at the Leo Luncheon that was held in August of 2016, we feel blessed and honored to be able to do this,” Michelle Strickland said. “And it is our goal to hold luncheons at least once a year for all the people that give to us everyday in ways we don’t even realize at times.”
