Timothy H. Ozment will be joining N.C. Wesleyan College to lead the areas of human resources, benefits, career services, leadership academies and internships.

Ozment comes with a wealth of human resources experience, having spent the last 16 years at MBM Corp., which is now a part of McLane Company Inc. The company is one of the most successful supply chain services leaders in the United States, and Ozment was instrumental in supporting the company’s strategies through human resources services. He will be joining Wesleyan on May 30.

As vice president of human sServices, Ozment will lead one of the college’s key strategic initiatives of providing career services and internships to its students, building on Wesleyan’s recent success in this area.

“I am excited to start a new challenge at North Carolina Wesleyan College and look forward to working with the entire team to further develop their career services program to help connect what is learned in the classroom to the world of work,” Ozment said. “I am fortunate to be joining such a respected college with a mission of preparing students for professional advancement, life-long learning, and responsible participation in their communities.”

Wesleyan President Dr. Dewey Clark said the college’s continued record-setting growth and the increasing demand to support students in their career and professional development led to the addition of this senior level position.

“Tim’s wealth of human resources experience will make him a vital addition to the North Carolina Wesleyan family. His appointment is a sign of our commitment to provide the best support possible to our students, faculty, and staff,” Clark said. “It was important to find someone who fits with our mission, and we were fortunate to find someone of Tim’s caliber to fulfill this role. I’m confident that Tim will be instrumental in providing and implementing high quality support and solutions for our students, faculty, and staff.”

N.C. Wesleyan College is a liberal arts college affiliated with The United Methodist Church. The college is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
