N.C. Wesleyan College recently was the beneficiary of another Eagle Scout project.

Logan Severini, an Eagle Scout candidate from Wilson Pack 381, recently completed his project on the college campus.

Severini painted the two large campus information stations and installed solar phone chargers. The solar panels also provide energy for the lights on the boards.

“Our information stations are widely used by student organizations to promote events and provide other information to students,” said Ed Naylor, vice president of student affairs and dean of students, “The addition of the solar phone chargers will be very beneficial to students as they can charge their electronic devices while they hang out with friends, study or eat on the brick patio.”'

Wesleyan is supportive of the Eagle Scout program and provides a $1,000 scholarship for four years for those students who have earned the Eagle Scout designation.
