The city of Rocky Mount’s Ward 3 will host a Community Fun Day from noon-4 p.m. Saturday at Daughtridge Park, 1142 Cokey Road. Activities include face painting, a live DJ and band, bounce houses, children’s games, a local talent show and food. Attendees will also have the opportunity to receive information about community resources from the OIC health van, Community and Business Development and fire departments. Yard Decorating Contest

The Spring Hope National Pumpkin Festival and Spring Hope Chamber of Commerce will hold a festival yard display competition as a part of the 48th annual Pumpkin Festival.
