Tutors Needed: The Twin Counties Literacy Council is seeking tutors for adult learners who need to improve their reading skills. Volunteers are needed for 1.5 hours per week. Special Event: The Rocky Mount Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will be hosting its annual Youth Initiative Kick-Off on Aug. 19 at OIC, 402 E.
