Reid Johnston earned a no-decision in N.C. State’s 4-2 win over host Notre Dame on Saturday.

Johnston allowed one earned run, six hits and struck out five over 3 ⅔ innings. The Rocky Mount Academy product lowered his ERA to 3.99.

He was replaced in the fourth after allowing three hits, two walks and a run. Johnston exited with the bases loaded, but relief pitcher Evan Justice, who earned the win, got the next batter to pop out.
