N.C. Wesleyan baseball’s six-game win streak came to an end on the road against Methodist on Friday with a 9-3 loss.

The Bishops (17-7, 8-4) grabbed a 3-1 lead after two innings but were outscored for the rest of the game, 8-0. NCWC had nine hits in all, with two from Trey Croom leading the way. Entering the night, the Bishops were sixth in the USA-South standings.

Action continues on Saturday with a double-header against Methodist, with the first game starting at 1 p.m.
