Eleanor Redhage, an Edgecombe County native who grew up in Tarboro, was named Young Lawyer of the Quarter for January-March by the Young Lawyers Division of the N.C. Bar Association.

Redhage is the daughter of Steve and Sharon Redhage and the granddaughter of Marvin and Sharon Horton and Jim and Sandy Redhage, all of Tarboro.

Redhage joined the Battle Winslow firm in Rocky Mount in 2015 after working in Washington, D.C. She has a broad-based civil practice, including the areas of family law and civil litigation.

Redhage earned her bachelor’s degree from N.C. State, graduating magna cum laude in 2009 and her law degree from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University in 2013.
