Nicole R. Cordell has excelled in obtaining the highest form of scholarship by completing her doctorate in business administration.
Cordell’s concentration in entrepreneurship and experience in the direct sales industry led to researching the increasing trend in entrepreneurial turnover and failure rate. Cordell’s dissertation, “Strategies for Sustainability in Multilevel Marketing Organizations,” included interviewing 10 entrepreneurs who successfully owned a business in direct sales more than five years to explore common leadership strategies that may have led to their sustainability.
Cordell’s plans after graduation include continuing research, speaking engagements, entrepreneurial mentoring, and business ownership.
A 2005 graduate of Rocky Mount High School, Cordell is the daughter of Timothy and Janice Cordell.
