FINANCE/COMPLIANCE DIRECTOR NO. 2018-02The Rocky Mount Housing Authority is seeking a qualified individual for a key executive management position to perform highly responsible administrative work in developing, implementing and coordinating an effective management system for the agency which includes strategic planning, accountability for fiscal and managerial results, agency-wide budgets and management of the agency’s fiscal and administrative operations, including Accounting, Procurement, Inventory, Budgeting, and Management Information Systems (MIS). Within these functional areas this position is responsible
for performance that positively contributes to the agency receiving satisfactory ratings in HUD agency performance evaluation systems, such as Public Housing Assessment System (PHAS), Section 8 Management Assessment Program (SEMAP), Home Ownership, or other future HUD evaluation systems for a medium sized Housing Authority and non-profit Community Development Corporation. The position requires a BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or equivalent; minimum five years of direct responsible experience in a supervisory role. Knowledge
and application of GAAP, and HUD regulations are a plus. Proficiency and demonstrated expertise with personnel practices, excellent interpersonal, analytical presentation and written/verbal communications skills are essential.
